Shanks won't matter for optishot driving range and games?

Hits with the far heel or the far toe obviously don't matter while playing an optishot course. Quite the contrary. By not hitting the ball clean there is more club head speed and the length is getting better. We understand that optishot measures the club face and the club head speed only but not the ball flight. However, you definitely have the data of heel and toe hits. Why dont you calculate a realistic shank ball flight (far heel?). In reality i cannot hit a 7 iron 160 yards when i hit it with the hosel, even not then when the path and clubface would be square/square. However, that's exactly what optishot software is doing when playing a course.

We believe that the software should deduct quite a lot of ball flight lenght and height when it detects a hit with the data "far heel" or "far toe" simply because it is frustrating when you can hear and see the shank and then see the ball flying in a 60 degrees angle into your right wall while optishot simulates a perfect straight green hit over 200 yards.
Have you ever considered doing a new and more realistic ball flight calculation for heel/far heel and far toe hits in your software?

Great question the only problem is getting a response from these guys, we show them great loyalty in asking questions but in return their loyalty to us to respond is very sad. Best way to get a response is to email them personally in my opinion good luck.
