golf balls for optishot

we tested practically all indoor golf balls for optishot.

The best results ( in terms of reality club feeling and response like a real ball) were the "AlmostGolf Point3" balls. These balls are quite cheap and available online from amazon.

using these balls for optishot requires the software switched to "real balls" in the options. Flight path, spin and flight length/height of these balls are pretty realistic. They feel good on the club just like real golf balls do, however, these balls stop at the impact wall but dont "jump" back, never hurt you nor destroying walls or furniture. A solid hit into an impact wall that is 12 feet apart will make that ball fly directly back to the tee of the optishot mat but no further.
Also you can use the same ball of this kind for many months.

Foam balls dont return any solid feeling to the club and the flight path/spin and length arent realistic while the AlmostGolf indoor ball feels like a real outdoor golf ball when you hit that ball. That's no ad, just a suggestion from another optishot user.
