I think a consistent tempo is most important. Not just on the simulator, but in golf in general. my swing tempo is almost always .9 seconds. This ensures consistent speeds through my clubs, i.e. my driver club head speed will be much faster at .9 than a p wedge at .9.. frankly, i could care less how fast my clubhead is going, as far as the sim is concerned, (especially when you can adjust it anyways) as long as im staying consistent with my tempo, i know that theres consistency in my swing through my whole bag.. I would target a comfortable tempo and try to get within a couple 10ths of a second every time through your whole set. I hope this helps!!

Experiences on various swing speeds?
Love Optishot as a practice tool. I use predominantly the Driving range.
I am curious to hear about expreiences with swing speeds. I average 92 MPH with a Driver and 68MPH with a pitching wedge.
Is there a target/ratio vs a particular club? Also are there any thoughts on the swing tempo?
Before going to my club pro I wanted to have some views.

Mike, thanks for the interesting insight. I will follow your suggestion and concentrate on the tempo as I found through the stats that my tempo is fairly consistent with all my clubs (1.1 to 1.2 sec.) except the driver (1.9). I will follow that trail and see where it leads.
